NIGERIA BEACH SOCCER ASSOCIATION HAILS GOV. EL-RUFAI ON SPORTS DEVELOPMENT.

The Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) under the umbrella body of Nigeria Beach Soccer Association (NBSA) led by the National Coordinator, Mr Mahmud Hadejia has lauded His Excellency, Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i for his investment in youth and sports development in Kaduna State.

Mr. Hadejia praised El-Rufa’i’s administration during a courtesy visit to the office of Commissioner, Ministry of Sports Development, Professor Kabir Mohammed Mato, on Wednesday, July 14th, 2021.

The Coordinator while speaking in Kaduna also briefed Prof. Mato on the upcoming Super Four Finals of the maiden edition of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) slated for July 29th – 31st, 2021 at Murtala Square in the heart of Kaduna City.

According to Hadejia, the delegation was satisfied with the level of work in the newly built Beach Soccer Stadium at the Square and are optimistic the facilities would be ready to host the National event.

Mr. Hadejia, who doubles as President of the African Beach Soccer Union (ABSU) notified Prof. Mato that the game of beach soccer is rapidly growing in Nigeria and on the African Continent.

In his remarks, Prof. Mato, expressed the willingness of the Kaduna State Government under Gov. El Rufai to support initiatives that engage teeming Youths to showcase their talents and exuberance in a positive way. He also promised to convey the NBSA’s invitation to the Governor and seek all the necessary support to host a hitch-free tournament.

The Commissioner also called for continuous collaboration between NBSA members, Officials of the Ministry and the State beach soccer Association in the planning and execution of the Super Four Finals.

In a similar vein, Chairman of Kaduna State Beach Soccer Association Engr. Musa Nimrod, gave praises to the State Government and the NBSA for deeming it fit to bring the super four finals to Kaduna State.
