As teams continue to prepare for the second round of the 2024 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) in Nnewi, Anambra State, Kada BSC’s Victor Tale is targeting the league title.
In 2022, the Kaduna-based side won the second season of the NBSL and hopes to reclaim the trophy at home.
Tied on points with holders, Kebbi BSC, the former champions are not a new name to the league when it comes to optimal performance.
The Kogi State born player and formerly Nigeria’s Beach Soccer Super Sand Eagles team captain said, “the focus is to top the table at the end of the second round which will help them work towards winning the title in Kaduna during the Super Four.”
“The target this season is that we don’t want to leave any stone unturned by God’s grace,” Tale told www.beachsoccer.ng
“We just had a little challenge losing to Kebbi BSC in 2023 but this season with the spirit that we have, I think by the special grace of God we will make sure that we are going to be the head.”

With Kaduna State set to host the Super Four, Tale believes that will serve as an advantage for the host team to win their second title.
“Hosting the Super Finals in Kaduna is going to be an advantage to Kada BSC because what we need now is not the Super Four.” He said.
“We just want to go to Nnewi to make sure we come tops from that place so that when we get to Kaduna we will know it is going to be a thug of war.
“If we can top the group at the end of the second round, the Super Finals will not pose too much stress for us. That is why we want to use this opportunity to make sure that going to Nnewi we are going to top the table so by the special grace of God when it comes to Kaduna we now round it up from there.” Tale concluded.
Kada BSC and Kebbi BSC top the log with 10 points apiece after the first round in Birnin Kebbi but the former has a superior goal difference at the summit of the league.
The top four teams at the end of the second round will make it to the Super Four.
