Africa’s top ranked beach soccer club, Kebbi Fishers BSC secured their fifth straight win at the 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) after a 5-1 victory against Ibom BSC in Nnewi, Anambra State on Friday.
Two goals each from Hassan Muhammad and Taiwo Adams propelled the defending champions to a comprehensive win over the Uyo based side.
The first period ended 0-0 but Muhammad broke the deadlock in the second period to open the flood gates of goals for the Birnin Kebbi based side.
Adams scored two goals to ensure that the second period was a different contest leading his side to a 3-0 lead.

Muhammad’s second goal of the match and one from Monday Joseph extended their lead to five before Uwana Aniete scored a consolation goal with the last kick of the game.
Adams who scored two goals and put up a good display was voted the man of the match.
Meanwhile, host, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors beat Nmanko Patigi BSC 3-0 the same scoreline in which Jigawa Golden Star BSC secure a win against Niger BSC.
2022 champions, Kada BSC also defeated Kebbi United BSC 3-0.
Round two of the league concludes with Matchday seven games at the Moonshine Arena, Nnewi High School, Anambra State on Saturday.
