The captain of Nmanko Patigi BSC, Ogunlana Seun says the team has put behind their abysmal outing in Round one of the 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) as the Ilorin based side prepare for the second round in Nnewi, Anambra State.
The Kwara State based team sits bottom of Group A without a point behind holders, Kebbi Fishers BSC, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors, and Ibom BSC.
Despite round one showing, Ogunlana, also known as “Figo” asserts that the second round will be a different ball game.
“We are confident of having a good outing in the second round,” He told www.beachsoccer.ng

“In the first round, games just came in that manner because we gave our best in those games but goals were against us. We played our pattern with the help of our coach.
“In football, without goals it will be hard to get results. This second round things will be better by the grace of God and with preparation, training and everything to ensure that we score goals.”
A constant participants in the NBSL, Nmanko Patigi BSC hope to shrug off their slow start with the aim of picking a Super Six Playoffs spot.
The top three teams from two groups will qualify for the Playoffs in Akwa Ibom State slated for December.
